Recently, WEIQIAO GREEN POWER 1 - B3China’s first new energy bulk carrier for coastal navigation - has successfully completed its maiden voyage and officially embarked on a new journey of commercial operation.

 


The vessel adopts an innovative "lithium battery + fuel" parallel hybrid power system, equipped with a standardized containerized mobile power supply provided by CALB.This solution effectively addresses the pain points of traditional ships, such as high emissions and heavy noise in port areas. It enables full pure-electric drive, zero-emission and quiet navigation when entering and leaving ports, delivering both environmental and economic advantages.
