Expanding into the Low-altitude Market CALB Signs Long-term Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Hefei Range Aviation

On September 28th, CALB signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Hefei Range Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. To date, Range Aviation has received orders from nine customers for approximately 500 aircraft. CALB and Range Aviation will collaborate on the LE200 project, exploring high energy density power battery solutions.

 

 

CALB has developed the 9-series high-nickel/silicon-based semi-solid cylindrical batteries for low-altitude mobility. These batteries combine high energy density with high safety characteristics, meeting aviation-grade safety standards. They are capable of supporting 6C fast-charging scenarios, with an energy density of up to 350 Wh/kg.
