Recently, CALB, Guangdong Xinkong Energy Group, and Zhuhai Qihang officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The three parties will jointly launch Guangdong’s first 5,000‑ton‑class all‑electric bulk carrier project, with plans to build four new smart new‑energy vessels, establishing a new benchmark for the green and low‑carbon transformation of inland waterway shipping in the Greater Bay Area.
