As Dianchi Lake's first mobile hybrid algae harvesting vessel, it is equipped with CALB's high-energy-density lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries. These batteries offer key advantages, including "high power, extended range, enhanced safety, and long cycle life," with a total capacity of 94 kWh. The vessel incorporates an advanced thermal management system, enabling rapid heating and cooling to ensure optimal battery performance under adverse weather conditions. A dual-channel data acquisition and control system design effectively mitigates single-point failure risks in extreme operating scenarios, enhancing battery system safety management throughout its entire lifecycle. A cell-level thermal runaway mitigation design significantly elevates the battery system's safety rating. Furthermore, the batteries' high energy density conserves cabin space, providing more room for algae removal equipment and thereby boosting operational efficiency.
