On September 17th, IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024 officially commenced in Hanover, Germany.
CALB showcased its "ZHIYUAN" light truck series featuring a high-capacity battery system that supports 180kWh and delivers a range of 600km. Based on the CIR3.0 platform technology, the system achieves a 10% reduction in component count and a 5% increase in space utilization. The LiFePO4 chemistry boasts a system energy density of 165Wh/kg, while the ternary chemistry reaches 210Wh/kg. The system offers a lifespan of up to 10 years. The "ZHIYUAN" light truck series is the only solution in the industry where a single battery pack can cover the range of 100-180kWh.
For the heavy-duty truck market, CALB introduced the "ZHIYUAN" heavy truck battery system, which supports a system capacity of 800kWh and provides a full-load range of 530km, boasting the industry's highest energy density of 167Wh/kg. The system's weight has been reduced by 300kg, and it utilizes an aviation-grade high-strength aluminum casing capable of withstanding 189 hours of vibration, making it resilient to harsh field conditions. It also incorporates a full lifecycle dynamic management strategy, ensuring zero degradation over 100,000km and a lifespan exceeding 1 million kilometers, guaranteeing worry-free operation.
As a leading battery expert, CALB possesses extensive technological expertise and a proven track record in the commercial vehicle sector. The company has delivered numerous electric buses, heavy-duty trucks, and light logistics vehicles that are operating reliably in over 100 cities worldwide. Notably, CALB is the exclusive battery supplier for the UK's "Boris Bus" project and held the number one market share for electric buses in the UK in 2023.
