On June 20th, a delegation from the Association of Malaysian Marine Industry (AMIM) and Petronas visited CALB's Xiamen facility. The delegation consisted of over 30 professionals from various sectors of the Malaysian shipbuilding industry, including shipbuilders, research institutions, design institutes, system integrators, equipment suppliers, and ship repair and service providers.

The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on the development trends of offshore vessels, energy conservation and emission reduction, and the future direction of electrification. CALB showcased its marine electrification solutions, including the newly developed containerized power supply system and customizable battery management system (BMS) specifically designed for electric/hybrid retrofits of offshore vessels. These solutions garnered high praise from the delegation, marking a new stage in the collaboration between CALB and the Malaysian shipbuilding industry.
